Belair Elementary School House System

The faculty and staff at Belair Elementary School are excited to share that we are implementing the Ron Clarke Academy House system. This system will serve as a means to create a positive and exhilarating school community, encourages student leadership, and serves as a motivation to perform well and excel in school.

A key benefit to the RCA House System is a sense of belonging, relationship building, and community among faculty, staff, students, parents, and all other stakeholders that get involved. In addition, faculty and staff will serves as mentors to all students, particularly those on their team. Each student is assigned to one of the six houses listed above. Students will receive points for their teams by displaying and encouraging positive characteristics and behavior, taking care of our school environment, and demonstrating academic effort, growth, and achievement. Each house will host activities, events, healthy competitions, and celebrations, throughout the school year.

Please look forward to hearing more information about our house system, where we are six houses but one family.
